Jon Paul & Kayne live over the road from me and got married at the end of the street at their favourite spot. We’re fortunate to live on Ben Buckler in North Bondi. Surrounded by ocean it’s an amazing place to do something special. I proposed there, so it’s special to me and my lady too.
The storm they weathered to tie the knot was a perfect metaphor for what they and others have had to endure to have the right to marry the soul they love. It rained torrentially during their ceremony, but even so you couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces
I’m honoured to stand there in the rain with them to capture their forevers and I do’s. I couldn’t be more happy for my two friends that are now husband and husband. Having never shot a same-sex marriage before I’m over the moon that the first one was for these two incredible humans that are clearly meant for each other.
Love is love. Rain, hail or shine.
